The Opening Xbox Game Pass Titles of 2026 Demonstrate Xbox Isn't Giving Up Yet.

In numerous discussions, commentators persist in tolling the knell for the green team. Xbox was recently outsold by a lesser-known competitor. Platform-specific outlets have started writing on PS5 topics unprecedentedly. 2025 was an era of significant turmoil for Xbox and Microsoft. Yet, based exclusively on the upcoming Game Pass lineup in 2026, it's evident that the green gaming company remains determined to engage players with compelling titles on its flagship service.

The Immediate Additions

The two games that are immediately available today, Brews & Bastards and Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition, don't represent the biggest draws. Rather, it's what is coming to Game Pass soon that's deserving of attention.

Upcoming Headline Games

On Jan. 13, the platform will add the often-overlooked Star Wars Outlaws, an open-world game that deviates from typical Ubisoft design with a cosmic robbery tale. An additional significant inclusion is Resident Evil Village featuring the towering Lady Dimitrescu, previously described as "the perfect cocktail of frights and fights."

Intriguing Niche Additions

But even the smaller games arriving shortly on the service are noteworthy here. Lost In Random: The Eternal Die, an unjustly ignored roguelite that is incredibly fun, becomes available next week — and it's worth experiencing even if you missed out on the first Lost in Random game.

This UK-developed survival title from last year might get its hooks in you within just a quarter of an hour.

Atomfall, the stealth survival game by Rebellion Developments, is also a game to check out. Ultimate tier members also have Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition to get excited about.

A Robust Selection of Games

All in all, these aren't the most groundbreaking additions to Game Pass, and they don't represent massive exclusive blockbusters that are the sole reason for the service alone. However, this batch of games are exceptionally strong. It offers a healthy blend of past releases that passed you by and new-ish games that failed to receive the spotlight they deserved the first time around — transforming them into perfect candidates to find a new audience on Game Pass.

Be prepared to say goodbye to The Grinch Christmas Adventures, as it happens.
